Essential Duties:
Under the supervision and guidance of a technical advisor, the quantum technology intern may support:
- Experimental benchwork
- Software development
- Analysis of experimental data
- Computational theory
Required Skills:
- Experience in one or more of the following:
oElectromagnetic/optical/quantum simulation
oScientific data analysis
oSoftware development
oElectrical test and measurement
oOptical test and measurement
oCryogenic systems
oProtocol/algorithm development/implementation
oCircuit design and evaluation
- Proficiency with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or related undergraduate program
- Undergraduate research in a quantum technology field
- Current enrollment in a PhD program
Special Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $50 - $55 per hour.
