Job Description

We are seeking an accounting expert. A very detail-oriented and highly ethical team player who enjoys accounting and customer service to track every financial transaction that occurs in the hotel, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing money is recorded and handled accurately. A property accountant manages the budget, track expenses and reports finances.

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour. This is a part time position.

Job Requirements:

  • A basic knowledge of business finance and be aware of general accounting procedures and principles

· Ability to evaluate financial data, organize it, and present it in a clear and professional manner

· On a weekly basis, analyzing various hotel operational ledgers produced during the night audit process

· Weekly reporting of areas of concern noted during the analysis of weekly ledgers

· Identification of aging accounts receivable along with an accurate disposition on the collection efforts

· Chargeback investigation, which includes direct communication with properties
