This position will support the Civic Science Communication Graduate Certificate program. This position will lead the efforts to develop an online Master's certificate program in Civic Science Communication, using the Five Pillars of civic science as touchstones, consisting of 4, four-credit courses with asynchronous and synchronous modalities. Shape coursework in the following areas: contextual storytelling, leadership in advocacy, engaging audience, and data/information presentation to provide students with experience in these areas. Create course content, receive University approvals, and launch the proposed certificate program with tuition, website portal, and learning platform.
