Job Purpose and Impact
The Production Operations Workforce Lead will act as a critical partner on behalf of hiring managers at the site by supporting the selection and onboarding of new employees. In this role, you will partner closely with the local management team and key stakeholders in human resources to meet ongoing staffing and talent needs to enable safe and reliable production. You will demonstrate strong people leadership and plan for ongoing training and staffing needs by serving as the primary hiring and onboarding manager for nearly all positions at the site. Key Accountabilities
Establish site operations position requirements, complete requests to post open positions, conduct interviews, make hiring decisions and provide hiring recommendations.
Work with site administrators to coordinate skill assessments, pre hire screening and start dates for accepted candidates.
Partner with local and national organizations, educational institutions, employment centers, local advertising and internal human resources staff to build a local employment presence.
Complete production operations safety training and onboarding of new hires on behalf of production managers.
Track training completion rates for the site and monitor against ongoing training expectations.
Work with site leadership and interpret progress reports and tracking metrics to identify a comprehensive needs assessment for minimum staffing headcount.
Identify alternative staffing methods such as use of contractors to ensure site needs are met.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Basic project management discipline skills
Minimum of four years of related work experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with production operations and safety practices
Minimum of six years working in a production environment
Confirmed ability applying continuous improvement methods.
Experience in establishing relationships to drive talent and increase outreach initiatives of the site. Application Information
The expected salary for this position is $110,000- $130,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
