Job Description

Hiring Personal Care Assistant (14 hours /week)

• Provides in-home companionship, medication reminders, and housekeeping services.
• Assists with feeding, dressing and bathing.
• Assists clients to live in clean, safe environment, light housekeeping
• Assist with Personal errands, per client and Agency request.
• Documents care given and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the Care Plan/Nursing Supervisor.
• Knows and follows infection control protocols including proper hand washing techniques.
• Maintains appropriate communication with the Nursing Supervisor (written and verbal) and with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Treats clients and families with respect. Maintains confidentiality.
• Accepts and fulfills assignments
• Participate in Agency Training as needed

Qualifications:

• Be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care and document tasks performed.
• Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
• Have experience in cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• First Aid and CPR Certification
• Able to pass a criminal background check and no history of abuse/neglect

Pay Rate is $15-$15.50

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
