The IDOL team in the Intel division at Leidos currently has an opening for a fully cleared Offensive
Software Engineer for the Reston/Chantilly, VA areas. In support of a DoD/intel program, the engineer will
develop, maintain and enhance complex and diverse software systems. The engineer will support research,
engineering, and development of innovative solutions to support operational cyber missions. Work includes
engineering robust infrastructure, end-point capabilities, and command and control systems. The successful
candidates will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team.
This position requires application developer support to maintain and enhance an existing social media data
exploitation platform, and to maintain and enhance an existing collection requirements management system.
The Sponsor also requires reverse engineering support to maintain and enhance access to social media data.

Bachelor's degree and 15+ years' experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
Experience with ARM, PowerPC, and NIPS assembly · Operating System and Kernel level development experience
Vulnerability research or software reverse engineering skills
Experience using jira , bitbucket, confluence, bamboo and/or Git, GitLab · Experience using vmware and exsi servers
Experience developing object orient app in python
Understanding of operating system internals for Windows, iOS, Linux, and/or Android, such as process synchronization techniques (i.e., semaphores, messages, threading), process scheduling, resource and device access
Experience developing on older operating systems such as XP and 2003 · Mobile development experience
Experience working with network inspection tools to capture and analyze network traffic.
Demonstrated experience with the following:
Developing and documenting scripts on Linux OS, with Python
Working with proxies such as Charles and Burp Suite.
Reverse engineering mobile and web applications.
Working with iOS frameworks and SDKs as it relates to jailbreaking.
Working with Dalvik bytecode and decompiled Android APK files.
Developing an Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipeline in Python, specifically utilizing the Bonobo framework.
Automation technologies such as Selenium.
Understanding of digital techniques and technologies to mitigate technical signatures.
Digital anti-fraud techniques and technologies.
Mobile emulation for application testing and reverse engineering purposes. Encryption and decryption methodologies.
Designing, developing, querying and maintaining ElasticSearch and related technologies · Demonstrated experience developing on Linux platforms.
Managing and developing software applications in an AWS environment. Working with geo-locational data at both the backend and the application tier. Developing software in a DevOps environment.
Maintaining Jenkins Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with automated testing and deployment.
Using Git as a source code repository.
