Mid-Level Procurement Agent

The Boeing Supplier Management Component Repair team is seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join the team in Seattle, WA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul team.

This position will support our Supplier Management-Contracts and Program Management team.

Position Responsibilities

• The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.
• Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
• Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
• Spares pricing and lead-time negotiations.
• Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements.

This is a hybrid position that allows for some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 3 + years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
• 3 + years of experience in Data Analysis.
• 3 + years of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Able to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience in strategic decision making
• Experience in a self-directed role.
• Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
