Busy Urogynecology and Gynecology Office: Looking for a very enthusiastic and energetic person

The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for being able to perform all of the duties at the reception desk, the checkout desk and float between the two positions. The Front Office receptionist is responsible for greeting and checking in patients who enter the office. This includes, but is not scheduling patients, preparing orders as instructed by the practitioner (labs, diagnostic testing, etc), and arranging the practitioner’s schedules to maximize efficiency and resources. The Front Office receptionist is responsible for answering phones, processing all inquiries as appropriate, including follow up, collecting appropriate information to facilitate insurance verification prior to the appointment. The FOMA is responsible for cross-covering the check-out desk and checking out patients who exit the office. This includes scheduling patients, collecting payments, preparing orders as instructed by the practitioner (labs, diagnostic testing, etc). The Front Office Receptionist must be compassionate with the patients, have the ability to problem solve and foster positive team interaction.

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for assisting the practitioners and Practice Manager with clerical duties. This includes sorting mail, preparing deposits, typing, data entry, preparing packets, copying, shredding, filing, creating folders, moving files and miscellaneous office related duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
