Job Description

Alamo Fitness Solution is currently hiring for part-time (20-25 hrs week) Fitness Repair Specialists to service customers in the San Antonio to Austin area. Work is performed onsite at GYM locations across San Antonio to Austin. We provide Installation, Maintenance and Repair services to various types of equipment at commercial fitness centers, along with building maintenance for clients. Ideal candidates must be able to work independently to perform scheduled services in a timely manner. Work assignments are sent by email and all completed paperwork. These positions are for independent technicians who will office at their residence. Access to a computer, printer, cell phone and clean, dependable transportation are required to apply. Work is available in many locations throughout Texas including Austin, San Antonio, College Station and Corpus Christi. Positions for experienced technicians in these areas can be filled immediately on an employee or contract basis. Additional paid training will be provided to help technicians acquire manufacturer certifications for service on various brands of equipment.

This position will allow a qualified applicant to work alongside our experienced technicians to gain the knowledge needed to perform Maintenance and Installation of the equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry tools and supplies weighing 25-100 pounds safely
  • Ability to drive few hours a day to get to job sites in town or in rural locations
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Repairs may require working in awkward positions such as crouching, kneeling, squatting or stooping
  • Assistance is not generally available

  • Attention to details and good follow-thru skills
  • Ability to read and follow verbal and written instruction
  • Ability to find and understand technical bulletins and drawings using a computer
