Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: 1421 GOULD BOULEVARD La Vergne TN 37086

Contract: 12 Months temp to hire

Shift: 1st Shift (7am to 3:30pm)

Pay Rate: $ 16.50/Hr.

Job Description

• Sets up and operates industrial machinery according to specifications pre-programmed machine control instructions.
• Reads work order and specifications to define prescribed setup operation
• Mounts & positions work piece on locating pins of holding fixture adjacent to robot, manually or using hoist and aligns secures work piece on holding fixture, using template, bolts, hand tools and power tools.
• Enter and write commands to activate machinery that automatically punches raw metals
• Enters commands to start machinery, observes machinery operation, and monitors screen of machine controller for malfunctions error messages.
• Changes or adjusts machine according to error message instructions.
• Inspects finished work piece for conformance to specifications.
• Cleans parts, tools, and fixtures.
• May perform machine maintenance.
• May set up and operate machinery to perform additional operations.
• Perform product changeovers on the equipment.
• Clean and sanitize equipment.
• Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out when necessary and work safely at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $16.50 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)
