Job Description

Social Design Studio is looking for an Interior Designer to support the Principal Designer + team throughout all phases of design. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing boutique hospitality interior design firm. The ideal candidate is highly organized and has a keen eye for design + detail. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in INTERIOR DESIGN and MINIMUM TWO years of experience. Please do not apply if you do not meet these criteria.

Requirements |

· Strong knowledge of Adobe Indesign + Photoshop

· Strong knowledge of AutoCad + Sketchup (Revit experience a plus)

· Understanding of all phases of design

· Procurement experience a plus

· Self-starter and ability to run with tasks

· Has a keen design eye + attention to detail

· Highly organized

· Outstanding communication skills

· Extremely flexible and able to manage multiple projects at one time

· Professional undergraduate or master’s degree in Interior Design

Responsibilities |

· Create floor plans, interior elevations, schedules, millwork details in AutoCad

· Pull mood board images + assist in presentation development

· Assist in creating photorealistic renderings using Sketchup - Podium experience a plus

· Source finishes, lighting, plumbing + accessories for projects

· Request quotes and pricing from vendors + manufacturers

· Procurement management

· Various design tasks as requested

· Site visits + installation support as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
