Job Description

Responsible for keeping carpets in guest rooms, hotel public areas, and administrative offices clean and spot free. Maintains a schedule to ensure carpets receive deep cleaning on a monthly basis.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Shampoos guest room carpets and hotel public areas.
Ensures that all carpet is free of spots.
Shampoos carpet in administrative offices on a monthly basis.
Other duties as assigned.


Other

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Professional personal appearance.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

Work may require evening, early morning, and week end schedules. Must be able to bend and kneel through out assigned shift. Must be able to occasionally reach above head in performing job duties. Able to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements

Specialized Work Experience

Basic communication skills required. Must be able to understand and speak English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to read labels on chemical bottles. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction.
