Pouring With Heart is currently looking for a Head Brewer at Idle Beer Hall, San Antonio, TX. We are excited to offer the opportunity to lead one of our newest into the future. To Pour (Brew) With Heart is to put your heart and soul into being of service to the person right in front of you. We have achieved our greatest successes when we have poured with heart. In order to continue to thrive we must do it in every moment and with all people. It is non-negotiable. We will teach you everything else you need to know, but you have to Pour with Heart. We believe deeply in our people and know that the only way to create truly remarkable bars will be if our family shows up as themselves and pours themselves into their work and those around them.
We only have one rule, you must always Pour (Brew) With Heart and Lead With Heart. As the Head Brewer, your ultimate responsibility is to produce the highest quality and maximum quantity of beer on the designated brewhouse equipment. You will be overseeing all brewhouse operations from grain to glass. You will be our production schedule wizard and with your creative direction, you will manage all inventory and brewing schedules when necessary. With your leadership, the team will have the support, knowledge, and resources to offer our guests the best beer experience possible.

Curate a thoughtful and interesting tap list that uplifts and caterers to your community at all times
The Bread & Butter: Run the Business
Place all brewing orders (grain, hops, yeast etc.) adhering the weekly and quarterly budget

Create and host charitable community and education events in your area, such as recurring Beer Societies.
Housed alongside San Antonio's Make Ready Market, the soon-to-open Idle Brewing is a gathering place that unites folks through fresh-made beer and craft cocktails. With an on-site brewhouse, the brewery will offer a wide range of styles to compliment the variety of provisions from the neighboring food hall. Paying homage to the existing historic building, which was originally part of a Cavender Cadillac dealership, the brewery's name is a nod to its automotive roots.
