abcam is looking to add a Graduate Scientific Data Associate to their team in Waltham, MA. This person will be supporting our product data for both our in-house products and OEM (outsourced products). This is a great role for someone looking to gain industry experience within the Life Sciences industry.
The role involves:
You will be educated to at least degree level (or equivalent) in a biological science with strong knowledge of MS office applications. You will have experience working with large datasets and have having an understanding of common antibody-based applications to screen product data quality, would be highly desirable.
Knowledge of databases such as Uniprot, NCBI and PubMed would be useful but not essential as full training will be given.
You will have excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills to resolve internal & external product data queries in a timely manner. You will have the ability to prioritise and process large amounts of data in a logical and efficient manner, ensuring our customers receive accurate, up-to-date product information quickly.
