Perform entry-level to advanced (depending on position) GIS editing and data analysis in support of GIS roadway network. The position includes significant opportunity to grow GIS skills and contribute directly to exciting projects. Work includes editing roadways, making maps, contributing to team projects, and developing custom tools and applications. Candidates work independently and in small team settings. Entry-level positions work under the supervision of a GIS technical lead.
Ideal candidates are proactive and resourceful and have an interest in learning how to work with large datasets, perform analysis, make maps, and write code. Opportunities for training and growing skills using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Portal, Python, SQL, JavaScript and FME.

GIS Analyst I :
Performs geographic information systems (GIS) data development, integration, and analysis, produces maps and graphics, and extracts, analyzes and reports data. Provides technical assistance and support of transportation related activities or projects. Work requires contact with governmental agencies. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
GIS Analyst II:
Performs [complex] geographic information systems (GIS) data development, integration, and analysis, produces maps and graphics, and extracts, analyzes and reports data. Provides technical assistance and support of transportation related activities or projects. Work requires contact with governmental agencies. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.
GIS Analyst III:
Performs [advanced] geographic information systems (GIS) data development, integration, and analysis, produces maps and graphics, and extracts, analyzes and reports data. Provides technical assistance and support of transportation activities or projects. Work requires contact with governmental agencies. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence.
GIS Analyst IV:
Performs advanced geographic information systems (GIS) data development, integration, and analysis, produces maps and graphics, and extracts, analyzes and reports data. Provides technical assistance and support of transportation related activities or projects. Work requires contact with governmental agencies. Serves as Lead Worker or Project Leader. Employees at this level establish their own work plan and priorities to meet set objectives. Issues are rarely referred to the supervisor but are handled at the occurrence.
