Night Auditor

SUMMARY: Responsible for accurately completing daily occupancy report. Reviews all cashier posting for accuracy and makes corrections when needed. Reconciles disputed accounts and makes proper adjustments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reviews al cashier posting to ensure accuracy. Makes corrections when needed.
2. Reconciles disputed accounts.
3. Completes daily occupancy report and submits to the Director of Hotel Operations.
4. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Must be able to read, understand and speak fluently in English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. One year of night auditor experience required. Must possess excellent cashier/accounting skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and duties simultaneously.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Computer literate with emphasis on Word and Excel. Ability to learn new software applications (CMS casino system, IGT Slot system, LMS hotel system). Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Position requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. This is normally acquired through a combination of a high school diploma or equivalent and two to four years of casino guest service experience.
4. Sufficient manual dexterity of hand to utilize a computer keyboard and calculator. Must be able to work independently.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
