Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Corporate offices are located in Memphis, TN. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work their bid shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, operate a motorized fork lift, prepare packaging, package product and other duties as assigned by supervision.

  Must be trained and certified on the forklift.

• Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling (caustic, flavoring).

• Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers.

• Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines.

• Load trucks in the prescribed manner.

• Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets.

• Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner.

• Must have basic operation and repair knowledge of roll up doors.

• Must be able to understand the inventory procedure.

• Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations.

• Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data entry

• Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies

Physical: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights

Starting Pay: $19 plus shift differential

Hours: 4:00 pm to 2:30 am
