Shifts are variable times: Tuesday-9:00am-5:30 pm, Wednesday- 9:00am-5:30pm, Thursday-10:00am-6:30pm, Friday-10-6:30pm, Saturday-11:00 am-4:30pm.
Pay Rate: $15.00-$17.00 per hour depending on experience.
Summary of Job: The Food Service Associate is responsible for preparing and serving food under the direction of the Food Service Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Prepares and serves food in accordance with food safety requirements and departmental procedures.
•Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen by using proper food handling techniques.
•Ensures all food is dated and disposed of after sell date.
•Monitors refrigerator temperature and documents on daily temperature log.
•Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.

•Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification required.
•Familiarity with Food Safety Regulations.

•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Minimum of six (6) months of food service experience.

•If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
•If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
A Program Support Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing/balancing on a step stool to reach supplies/equipment, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
Work Environment
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility where some hazardous conditions may exist.
