What does a Financial Analyst do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Critical thinking skills are a must! The candidate must be analytical in nature and possess the ability to paint a clear picture to business leaders using data. The position holder should be inquisitive and constantly ask “why”. It is imperative that the candidate is punctual and responsive to requests from Swire employees and managers.
Job Details:
This is a Temporary position. Time frame May through August 2023
Responsibilities:
- Leverage accounting and finance acumen to address ad-hoc business requests including commodity, volume, scenario analysis to understand potential risk and opportunities to firms profit and loss
- Perform Discounted Cash Flow and Internal Rate of Return analysis for capital budgeting process
- Analyze monthly business drivers to determine opportunities for efficiency and prepare recommendations for Finance leaders
- Proactively identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare recommendations on activities to execute against those KPIs
- Demonstrate flexibility to seamlessly reprioritize and pivot on deliverables
- Operate in an increasingly complex business environment and synthesize information to provide recommendations
- Strong collaboration, cooperation, and communication with finance team leaders to insure alignment with the rest of the organization
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the US. This position is not eligible for work visa or sponsorship
- Able to work normal business hours between the beginning of May and middle of August excluding holidays
- Currently pursuing a Masters degree in finance or equivalent
- Clear and concise communication style both written and verbal
- General understanding of automation or RPA
- Ability to work autonomously and problem solve with little direction
- Demonstrated experience of consistently delivering results
- Demonstrated aptitude to learn and institute new processes
- Financial acumen and familiarity with P&L management
- Experience working with and manipulating large data sets and able to identify key themes to drive business decisions
