Shift: Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm

Finishing Lab Technician I

Scope and Purpose of Position:

Ensures that the work order tray number, matches the tray numbers on the work ticket. Verifies all flagged trays are removed from stacks and taken to the proper location. Ensure all work orders are wrapped, with the correct work ticket. Separate all orders, within the correct bins.

Essential Functions:

  • Prioritize tray processing flow as dictated by color code system
  • Select appropriate job number for processing
  • Ability to properly turn on main power, initialize computer startups, perform reboots and recovers from robot errors
  • Correctly load and remove trays from the stack
  • Validate tray numbers display to job in process
  • Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles
  • May mentor and coach other associates as needed
  • Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and workstation
  • Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), prescribed safety and hazardous materials handling procedures, and Federal/State laws regulating hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc
  • Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

The noise level in this location is moderate (use of computers, printers and machines). Ability to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
