Set Up Technician Sets up and adjust progressive and single hit dies according to the Set Up Sheets.

Set Up Technician - Job Duties:

• Sets up and adjust progressive and single hit dies according to the Set Up Sheets.
• Performs first hit and submits for quality approval.
• Shuts down all jobs at the end of run and return dies to the proper storage location.
• Loads stamping dies onto the presses.
• Inspects products for quality assurance.
• Utilizes precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure products are made to specification.
• Performs routine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and lubricating machines.
• Monitors and notifies supervisors of machine wear and/or damage for preventative maintenance.
• Communicates with shift supervisor for die set list or change overs.
• Participates in continuous improvement and assist in its implementation on an ongoing basis.
• Assists operators as needed.
• Operates forklifts and tow motors safely.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Performs all other duties assigned.
• Cross train in Concrete Department and conduct set ups.

Set Up Technician - Qualifications:

• 2 years previous die setter experience or metal stamping experience
• Forklift experience required
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Communicates well with others
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Accuracy, attention to detail and being well organized
• Must be safety conscious

Pay will be based on prior experience.

Leitchfield, Kentucky, in Grayson County, is 49 miles SE of Owensboro, Kentucky (center to center) and 61 miles SW of Louisville, Kentucky. Other nearby cities include Bowling Green and Elizabethtown.
