Responsibilities:

• Assist our dentist with veneers, smile makeovers, crown and bridge, whitening, lab work and other dental procedures
• Serve as an infection control officer, develop infection control protocol, and prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Obtain information on patient's medical history
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for post oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Dental charting
• Clinical Charting
• Polishing Clinical Crowns
• Take Alginate Impressions
• Pouring Study Models
• Apply Dental Sealants
• Place/Remove Dental Dam
• Place/Remove Matrix Band
• Place/Remove Retraction Cord
• Place/Remove Temporary Restorations
• Apply Liners and Bases
• Suture Removal
• Fabricating Temporary Crowns
• Removal of Excess Dental Cement

Requirements:

• FL X-ray certification
• Expanded Functions Dental Assisting certificate
• Proficiency with Eaglesoft or other dental practice management software required
• Strong attention to detail with excellent multi-tasking, written and verbal communication skills
