Job Description

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented, analytical Corporate Banking Service Representative to join our Corporate Banking Division. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing high-touch and customized service, sales, lending, and operational support to a portfolio of the bank’s largest business relationships headquartered in Hawaii and on the US Mainland. Corporate Banking Service Representatives (“CBSR”) work in coordination with the Wholesale Banking Group’s team of Relationship Managers (“RM”) from the Corporate Banking and Commercial Real Estate Divisions, as well as First Hawaiian Leasing. Service complex client needs, including highly involved depository/ treasury solutions and credit structures in which the bank may be a participant or agent in a syndicated transaction. Work in a high volume and deadline driven environment.

The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.


Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s Degree in a business-related field and 1 year of experience with high-value clients preferred; or
    • 3 years of customer service experience with at least 1 year of experience building client relationships (within the financial industry preferred and/or with high-value clients).
  • Experience as a Customer Service Representative or Business Banking Service Representative in a branch/banking center or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must have creative problem solving and analytical skills while applying sound reasoning and judgement.
  • Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
  • Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
  • Must be accurate, thorough, and capable of timely and efficient follow-up.
  • Must be team oriented.
