We are a brand-new opening grocery store seeking several friendly, reliable, and customer-focused cashiers to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience. You'll play a crucial role in processing payments, handling cash, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Scan items and process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions with care.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate cash register balances and follow all cash-handling procedures.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical skills, and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
