The Parts Associate is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products sold at 4 State Trucks. A Parts Associate is expected to be continuously growing their knowledge of the parts products sold as well as the policies and procedures of 4 State Trucks. Assistance from floor managers is expected.
Fielding inbound phone calls to identify customer needs and efficiently conducting business in accordance with 4 State Trucks policies and procedures will be the most crucial part of this position.
Another key responsibility will be to provide 2nd Mile customer service standards in each and every customer interaction- regardless of whether the phone call is an inquiry, sale or a customer complaint. As a part associate, you will learn, absorb, and adhere to the core values of our company and conduct business in accordance with those values.
Duties/Responsibilities
Qualifications and Abilities:
· High school diploma
· Previous experience in customer relationships
· Strong listening and verbal communication skills
· Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively by setting priorities.
· Have a strong sense of situational awareness to be able to prioritize tasks.
· Willingness and desire to learn about the products sold, customer service, policies, and procedures as well as the trucking industry as a whole.
