SmartThings has Summer Fridays so you will be working 32 hours a week.

Duration
The internship program will last 10 weeks, providing a comprehensive exposure to the industry. This will be a hybrid role at our Mountain View, CA office location.


Key Responsibilities


Program Overview
  • Conduct industry research, including market trends, key players, regulatory environment, and emerging technologies in the smart home space
  • Perform a competitive landscape analysis, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the company's competitors, their market share, pricing strategies, and value proposition
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, potential partnerships, and market entry strategies and prioritize based on revenue potential, feasibility and other key factors
  • Develop detailed business plans for the new revenue opportunities identified, including financial projections, key performance indicators, and implementation timelines
  • Present and communicate findings and recommendations to the senior leadership team, and communicate the results of their research to internal stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the MBA internship program should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be familiar with market research and industry analysis methodologies, and have excellent communication and presentation skills. They should also have a good understanding of the smart home industry, emerging technologies and trends, and possess a keen interest in consumer technology.

Requirements
  • candidates should pursue an MBA degree or equivalent advanced university degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy, planning, business operations
  • Completion of internship experience powerpoint presentation on program end date
  • Ability to complete a 10-week internship (June - August 2023)
