Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman, a top entertainment business management firm, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Location: This position can be based out of Nashville (TN), Encino (CA), Century City (CA), Wilmington (DE), or New York.

Overview of Role: The primary responsibility of this role is computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of the client are accurate.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Journal entry posting
• Financial statement preparation
• Monthly reporting
• Payroll
• Other duties, as assigned

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and via email)
• Sense of urgency
• Keen eye for details
• Ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus
• Experience with Datafaction and Agilink software is highly preferred

This is a non-exempt, overtime eligible position. Employee compensation is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, employee education/training/credentials, employee work experience, work location (including if the employee will be remote, hybrid, or fully in-office), the scope and responsibilities of the role, internal peer equity, and market considerations. Applicants will be considered for the Assistant, Bookkeeper, and Senior Bookkeeper level. The expected base compensation hiring range for these positions is as follows:

• Assistant Bookkeeper: $21.64 to $24.04 per hour
• Bookkeeper: $24.04 to $26.44 per hour
• Sr. Bookkeeper: $27.40 to $35.10 per hour

Employees may also be eligible for GRF’s discretionary performance bonus and profit-sharing programs.
