Job Description

Summary:
A Beverage Server prepares and serves non-alcoholic beverage service to casino guests in designated gaming areas. Provides a great experience for every guest through courteous interactions.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to all guests in the casino whether or not they are gambling.
  • Greet guests and build personal first name relationships.
  • Maintain a well-stocked, orderly, clean work and guest environment.
  • Prepares and serves beverages (hot and cold) using drink dispensing machines.
  • Takes and records temperature of storage areas such as refrigerators and steam tables.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes or silverware.
  • Accepts payment from guests and makes change as necessary.
  • Maintain all health and safety regulations.
  • Keep assigned work areas clean and orderly.
  • Remove empty cups and other beverage containers from gaming areas and dispose of them in the trash.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal members.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • At least six months job related experience.
  • Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-key license.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Must be able to push 100lb beverage cart.
  • Ice restock care weighs approximately 250 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Physical ability to safely perform the essential job functions of the position.
