We are Brooklyn Whiskers Bakery, a small cafe and wholesale bakery in Bushwick Brooklyn. Currently we are looking for experienced and reliable Bakers who can work immediately. THE SHIFTS ARE FROM 4 am - 1 pm.
The position is hands-on. You must be able to:
- Manage your time. Making pastries, cakes, etc
-Follow a prep list
- Follow a recipe with care and ask questions
- Work cleanly and efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Manage/ track inventory
- Problem solve efficiently
- Self motivate
We are looking for someone with immediate availability.
16-24 hrs per week
Strongly prefered:
- You are vegan and/ or have knowledge of plant based living, vegan food items, and how to prepare them.
- Food Handler's permit
