What we offer:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated summer intern to join our AI/ML team with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), working closely with our engineers to support our ongoing research and development efforts with recent advances in transformer-based models to deliver text-based intelligence on internal data assets.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify different opportunities for NLP based intelligence
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data for defined NLP tasks
- Assist in the training, development, and testing of transformer-based models
- Conduct research and experimentation to build POCs
- Analyze and interpret results from experiments and provide recommendations to improve performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest research in Multi-modal Transformers, NLP, and ML
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with a focus on NLP, or a related discipline
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Gensim
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, especially in the context of NLP (Transformers)
- Familiarity with data processing tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn
Ways to stand out:
- Experienced with PyTorch, HuggingFace, and transformers library in python.
- Deep understanding of the transformer architecture; Experience with multi-modal problems.
- Interest in Predictive Maintenance and other warehouse intelligence applications
