About the Role:

Come join the accounting team at WynnBET which is one of the fastest growing companies in the industry. At WynnBET, the Accounting Manager will oversee the accounts payable function and plays an integral part in the month-end close process including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation, financial reporting, and ad-hoc accounting projects as requested by management. The applicant must possess an in depth understanding of US GAAP.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the accounts payable function, which includes ensuring invoice processing, payments, and responding to vendor inquiries and escalations.
• Plans and executes weekly and ad-hoc payment runs and manages the accounts payable dashboard.
• Manages the accuracy of the supplier database including adherence to vendor compliance requirements.
• Assists with assigned general ledger accounting areas including, preparing and posting of accounting entries and reviewing and approving account reconciliations.
• Assists in the preparation of the month-end consolidation and maintenance of key reports.
• Supports the financial reporting team in preparing supporting schedules required for the company’s financial statements.
• Assists with the preparation of tax-related matters, including 1099 reporting, personal property and use tax returns.
• Motivates and coaches employees to enhance their performance and development.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience in accounting or related field (CPA or equivalent experience preferred).
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work with limited guidance and supervision.
• Excellent professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality or company information
