Job Description

The accounting manager will be responsible for:

• General ledger including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.
• Month-end, Quarter-end and Year-end closing activities
• Accounts Receivable and all related activities
• Will act as primary back up for Account Payable staff
• Cash management
• Assisting with Corporate tax return filings
• Responsible for quarterly Sales and Uses tax returns
• Oversight and processing of employee expense reports
• Intercompany transactions and consolidation
• Management of insurance application and renewal process
• Foreign representative office operations support
• Management of audit-related activities
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures according to SOX requirements
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years prior experience in general accounting
• Knowledge of Great Plains Software preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)
• Must have hands on knowledge
• Motivated self-starter, fast learner and independent worker
• Ability to interface with employees at all levels
• Excellent communications skills, oral and written

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Jose, CA 95131
