Our company is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the accounting department, such as maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets; preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Maintain and review financial records for accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank statements.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
