Position responsibilities The Account Executive is responsible for servicing and marketing the needs of Lockton clients to maximize company revenue, and to build and maintain client, carrier, other provider, and associate relationships Coordinate all Lockton resources to provide quality client service This position will be responsible for creating strategic plans; coordinating the marketing, program management, administration, claim serving and project reporting for our client's Controlled Insurance Programs (CIPs or Wrap Ups). Understand and perform marketing and account services to provide the broadest and most competitive quality product for Lockton clients Understand and is well-informed on insurance industry developments and all products available in the insurance marketplace Coordinate marketing strategies and selection for new and renewal business and maintain communication with the account team during the entire marketing process to protect current business and secure new business Perform the following tasks for new and existing wrap-up programs / projects, and their clients with appropriate assistance /direction/supervision from the Wrap-up Business Unit manager or Department manager while interfacing as a team member within the business unit Create strategic marking and service plans related to new business and our existing client's new construction project needs, including comprehensive programs for clients who have multiple projects in their development / construction pipelines Coordinate and market with our direct and wholesale underwriting partners the quotation and placement of those projects in the best interest of our clients and their business needs Assist in creating a service plan for new construction projects, including the CIP administration as well as the coordination of safety and claim services for the project or program Incorporation of the Service Plan into the Lockton Fee for Service Agreement Work with the client and their management to incorporate appropriate wrap-up contractual language into their design and construction Contracts and Agreements for related work / projects. This language must comply with any state laws and regulations, and reflect the program underwritten Coordinate and review Project Insurance Manual(s) consistent with the Contract or Agreement established by the Lockton Wrap-up team with the Client and their Contractors Review the carrier quotations and binding instructions and ensure that they have been appropriately summarized by the CIP Project Team and incorporate into the Final Project Insurance Manual Participate and assist in preparing presentations to the client, both for new business as well as on-going reports as the project progresses Ensure that the workflow and procedures for CIP Administration and Project / Program Management are reflective of the service Lockton will deliver, the Contracts written and awarded, and the coverage bound Management of the project delivery of services by Lockton as agreed upon with the client in our Agreements Undertake responsibility for account services as needed for our client business Create and update coverage specifications Deliver submission to markets Review quotes and sample policy forms Prepare client proposals and summaries Arrange and perform presentations to client Bind coverage with underwriters upon authorization by client Process new account and project business with assistance of the Account Administrator and Account Manager Prepare summaries, complete final policy checks, monitor open/closed items with underwriters, client, and Lockton team Coordinate create and present wrap-up administrative procedures including enrollment information at pre-bid and pre-construction conferences/meetings as may be required for the project Create and provide in cooperation with the CIP Project Team Project Insurance Manuals and other insurance summaries to the client and their construction project teams Respond to contractors on any insurance questions related to Controlled Insurance Program (CIP) participation, including elimination of insurance costs from bids Ensure the enrollment of eligible contractors in the CIP and work with the CIP Administrator in the coordination / workflow of services in order to collect enrollment information. The establishment of appropriate lines of communication and correspondence with the client and their contractors Coordinate with the CIP Project Team the information needed for periodic, quarterly or annual stewardship reports as provided for in our Lockton Fee for Services Agreement. Oversee the creation of those reports Direct requests for insurance certificates or other insurance information from outside entities regarding CIP participants to the Account Manager or Account Administrator Ensure that the CIP Administrator secures and maintains evidence of coverage from all enrolled contractors, non-enrolled contractors, vendors, and suppliers through periodic check-ups with that team Provide input to the Wrap-up Business Unit and Operations Managers, or other related Account Executive on any recurring issues arising from the project / program, including issues with contractors enrolled in the CIP or in discussion with the Client. Support Producers and the Business Unit Manager, or Department Manager in the sales and marketing of wrap-up and construction -oriented business Responsible for the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly or program stewardship reports Oversee, direct, plan, and schedule the work of others, as required. May train and give technical supervision to assigned associates. Has ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of work processed by the Account Administrator, Account Manager, and others. Keep abreast of market conditions and new products Perform other work-related duties as assigned
