JOB OVERVIEW:

Provide fast and courteous service of food and beverages to members and ensure quality of food and beverage presentation per established standards.

• Supports training for others with their knowledge level regarding the club’s food and beverage products and services.
• Ensures each member’s satisfaction and troubleshoots any member issue as needed.
• Follows proper alcohol and beverage control regulations, including identification of minors.
• Maintains clean, orderly and safe work office area as well as in the outlets.
• Adheres to and promotes health department standards.
• Ensures proper storage of equipment and handling of food to meet health department requirements.
• Follows all Policies and Procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Uses diplomacy whenever interacting or handling complaints from guests and members.
• Understands and oversees execution of restaurant ready procedures for service.
• Understands and oversees execution of restaurant steps of service.
• Understands and oversees proper closing of as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by direct reports.

• Constant walking and standint
• Has a solid knowledge and understanding of food, wine, beer and alcohol product and service
• Handling food objects; plates, trays, glasses, etc.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling

Other:

• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with members, wait staff, cooks, and supervisor.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when taking orders, completing paperwork, etc.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
