VP of Communication & Government Relations

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive internal communications and employee engagement.
• Manage executive communications and partner with HR to ensure our values are captured and consistently messaged to all employees.
• Champion all forms of external communications, including public relations (media and analyst relations as well as crisis communications), social media, brand experience (including trade fairs and owned events both internal and external), government relations/public policy.
• Make external communications an increasing proactive piece of business strategy, by increasing utilization of social media, industry press and other media to drive stronger brand awareness and capitalize on our larger market share in the region.
• Lead our tradeshow and events initiatives, including CES as well as inhouse conferences.
• Lead the effort to make us a more well-known entity as a leading semiconductor vendor in the region.
• Find innovative methods to communicate and promote our strategy throughout the region.
• Assure that every employee has line of sight with their role and the success of the company.
• Act as a key partner with our regional President.
• Partner closely with our four divisions, locally and globally, to ensure all communications and content are aligned with our outbound marketing strategy.
• Build trusting, productive working relationships with members of the regional leadership team, business unit leaders and other key internal stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with external stakeholders in the market, especially those with customers and technical publications.
• Ensure employee communications are cohesive.

What You Need for this Position

• Strong track record of creating and implementing regional communication strategies
• Ability to create, translate, and implement communication tools for both external and internal communications
• The know how to develop targets and manage incentives to motivate results and desired behavior of internal and external resources
• Experience developing and managing control mechanisms to determine effectiveness of communication strategies, programs and tools
• Ability to develop a strong team and promote teamwork across region
• Ability to mentor and develop talent
• Ability to develop metrics and incentives that align with corporate goals and the global strategy
• Strong understanding of communication needs with external partners and stakeholders
• Strong influence and guidance of external partners by presenting compelling strategy and facilitating strong results
