Key Responsibilities:

Allstate Insurance has an exceptional opportunity for an Auto Theft Adjuster to join the Auto Theft Team!


A Theft and Fire Adjuster is responsible for investigating automotive theft and fire claims, including total loss settlements. They are responsible for explaining coverage, claims, settlement, and rental processes to agents and/or customers. They work independently, prioritizing responsibilities, and managing their own workload. A Theft and Fire Adjuster is responsible for interviewing involved parties, delivering compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention, and maintaining customer satisfaction during the entire claim process.



A Day In the Life:
  • Work in a team environment
  • Investigate Auto Theft & Fire Claims
  • Determine coverage
  • Work with multiple workstreams (QFC, Waivers, Virtual Assist, Tech Reviews, Total loss)
  • Prepare reports for customers to settle total loss claims
  • Determine salvage value
  • Service the customer with empathy while delivering compassionate service by understanding and meeting the customer’s needs

Where will I work?

  • This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. You do not need to be near an Allstate office, but must live in the United States.
  • This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.
  • This position is not open to AK, CA, or HI residents. Preference for candidates who live in EST time zone.

Work Schedule:

  • To be determined based on business needs. Work schedule based on Eastern Time Zone.



Notice of Licensing Requirement:
As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license.
If required, the Hiring Manager will work with you along with the Centralized Licensing team to ensure that you are properly licensed.
Licensing required; multiple markets preferred. Required to obtain required licenses within 60 days of hire.

Compensation offered for this role is $52,500.00-$83,250.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
