Job Purpose:

The Technical Trainer will design, develop, implement, conduct and monitor learning and development programs for internal associates. The Technical Trainer will be responsible for the delivery of new product and service training, systems training, customer interaction training, and soft skills training. Facilitates training sessions on complex and advanced topics including applicant tracking and advanced systems. Acts as a subject matter expert of training content and mentors peers.

DUTIES:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our ATS/CRM platform serving as a key stakeholder in the planning, development, and design of new curricula
  • Be an ambassador for ATS/CRM system use and monitor user habits and users
  • Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and opportunities for business improvement and personal development
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods (classroom, virtual training, conference calls, train the trainer sessions, labs and peer-to-peer coaching)
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training conducted (class feedback, follow-up, surveys)
  • Communicates curriculum or program effectiveness back to leadership
  • Evaluate training solutions to assess impact of learning programs
  • Develop, write, and evaluate training materials and methods implementing a blended learning approach
  • Participate in and/or lead internal meetings and activities to present and disseminate information about training programs, changes, and/or updates
  • Responsible for the enrollment, tracking and reporting process for each class and training event
  • Utilize tools to create and embed SCORM sessions as relearning opportunities

OTHER:

  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of NSC and our clients including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into clear, easy-to-understand content
  • Prior experience developing training course content and delivering instructor-led training
  • Experience using creating video content using video editors such as Vimeo.
  • Proficient knowledge/experience desktop publishing and common authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and Office applications
  • Strong general communication skills (interoffice, phone, email)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload.
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Attendance on a regular, consistent basis in an office environment is mandatory including arriving at the time scheduled by your supervisor daily.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
