SoHo Dragon represents an investment bank with offices in New York, NY that needs to hire a SAP System Integrator/Developer.

Our client is adapting SAP Integration Suite (IS) also known as Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to serve as the middleware and/or replace their current tool for integrating all the different implemented applications. The desired candidate is someone that specializes in bringing together component subsystems as a whole and ensuring that those subsystems function together. Having knowledge on how cloud, ETL is a must. This involves providing sound solution and documenting the architecture, guidelines and standards for the platform and approach. As part of the S4/HANA implementation, this will require the resource to support and develop other supporting tools and activities such as web service development.

• Skills: SAP CPI, Cloud PI, SFSF, OData, SAP HCM, SAP Time Module, SFTP, Time Clock Plus
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Integration with strong experience in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Good experience and understanding of SAP Time module and SAP Integration experience with SFTP, Webservices, OData and other integration services.
• Experience in SAP HCM and Time Clock Plus system

Key Responsibilities:

• Stand up the BTP/ Integration Suite environment to guide and engage the team as co-developers.
• Document and demonstrate best practice standard operational procedures.
• must have Hands on experience in working with CPI WebUI.
• Lead the team in problem solving function, as subject matter expert in integration development.
• Lead and participate discovery sessions with business team and business analysts to gather requirements.
• Practical experience implementing service-oriented architecture design and enabling technologies including messaging, XML, SOAP/REST web services and HTTP.
• Analyze existing systems to determine upgrade needs and improvements.
• Perform development such as using BTP Integration Suite Cloud Connector to S/4 HANA for starter and not limited to with the following systems as source/target from homegrown applications to SAAS and even on-premise databases and applications
• Design a clean slate Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) for staging and reporting
• Utilize new EDW for ID lookup and other master data references
• Hands-on development of custom adapters as a last resort.
• Research and communicate with vendors to support tool assessment as well as operational support as needed to solve any issues or vendor application bugs
• Work closely with the our client team to solve business requirements.
• Implement and develop agreed approach and development guide by working with the team.
• Provide or execute the Quality Assurance process with the necessary details for the business and IT business analyst and QA team to test and validate the technical solution meets the scope and quality expectations.
• Recommend and implement solution to combine subsystems into cohesive units to better support business objectives
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Author documentations that meet the level of details required for the intended audience, including Information architecture, logic flow, and technical details to serve as build book for the developers, administrator, and functional analyst to follow as guide for setup and configurations.
• Report to Managers, Project Team Lead and stakeholders of work progress on a regular basis.
• Web development such as APIs and sql scripting may be required.
• Analyzes, designs, develops, monitors, and tests process flows in support of multiple business projects using integration technologies.
• Designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots, and completes maintenance of integration components for applications and systems
• Exposure to SAP MBC a CPI like tool tailored for Bank related Interfaces.

Familiarity with SAP PI/PO or other cloud-based integration middleware platforms would be an add on

• Any other SAP technical skills like ABAP, Fiori UI5 skills are a good add-on.
