Intel’s Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group is hiring! We’re looking for a System Software Validation Engineer to join our Custom Compute Group (XCC) for an internship. XCC’s responsibilities include ecosystem enablement, development and delivery of domain-specific end-to-end vertical solutions and attainment of our P&L commitments.
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Debugging software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products
- Developing, modify, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures
- Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action
- Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems
- Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software

Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field. Only Applicable to Senior Students who have not participated in an Intel internship previously through the MECOP program.
This position involves work on US Government Contracts and/or proposals for US Government Contracts that limit participation to US Citizens. A person may be required to provide proof of US Citizenship in order to comply with US government requirements. Any offer by Intel for this position is conditioned upon satisfying any government requirements regarding proof of citizenship.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $40,000.00-$108,000.00 (Hourly Role)
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
