Structural Design Assistant/Sample Maker


Pay Rate:

$14 - $18 per hour


Physical Location:

4140 Campus Drive

Aurora, IL 60504

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Organize and prioritize CAD (computer aided drawing) sample requests
  • Use CAD table and CAD software to prepare samples to ship to customers
  • Use software to create shipping labels for shipments
  • Communicate to internal and external customers on progress/status of projects
  • Assist with sample stock delivery and inventory
  • Assist with maintaining organization of design and testing laboratory
  • Other duties as assigned

The Position Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be age 18 prior to 5/1/23
  • Able to work 20 hours per week during summer and ongoing for duration of approximately two (2) years
  • Interested in continuing the internship opportunity while attending local community college with interest in pursuing a degree towards packaging or design
