- BA/BS degree from an accredited university
- 3+ years’ experience handling auto physical damage claims
- 3+ years of subrogation and arbitration experience

Amazon is seeking an experienced Logistics/Auto Risk Analyst who will manage auto physical damage (APD) and property damage (PD) claims for Amazon’s expanding worldwide delivery fleet.
Key job responsibilities
Within Global Risk Management & Claims, you will support and report to a Risk Manager, focusing on claims management, process improvement, and third-party administrator (TPA) programs. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee the management of commercial APD and PD claims.
- Work closely with TPA partners to drive continuous improvement within the APD and PD space, while supporting simplicity, efficiency, and cost containment.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to accomplish shared goals.
- Develop tactful solutions that will have a material impact on day to day claim processes.
- Serve as an APD/PD subject matter expert for TPA partners and internal teams.
- Leverage subject matter expertise to deep dive claim processes, challenge status quo, and develop tactful solutions that will be impactful to program metrics.
- Support internal audits to ensure quality and compliance are in accordance with client service instructions and performance expectations.
- Partner with vendors to develop and/or update standard operating procedures that align with program goals.
- Utilize and develop metrics to make data driven decisions for process evaluations and recommendations.
- Work across teams to share ideas, influence change, and deliver projects results.
- Fleet or commercial auto claims experience
- Claims leadership experience
- Auditing experience within a claim organization
- ARM, AIC, CPCU, or similar designation
- Ability and willingness to lead projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in written format.
- Well organized, detail oriented, and adaptable to changing processes and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as a team, comfortable voicing opinions and respecting different perspectives.
- Eagerness to learn and develop
- Available for domestic travel up to 25%

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
