Radancy is looking for a full time Software Engineer who has experience building large scale enterprise technical architectures to join our team. As a Backend Engineer you will help to shape the future of the engineering team through the examples of your own code. You must be capable of working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, be self-motivated, results-driven and detail-oriented to achieve success. You are a technology champion and change agent.
The selected candidate has the option to work Remote/Work-from-Home provided they align their schedule to standard work day in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

- Build for the Future: Investigate, recommend, and implement new technologies and new processes that improve the feature set, scale, speed, and reliability of the Radancy/Ascendify platform
- Ensure Quality: Write high-performance, reusable, modular code along with automated unit tests
- Create New Features: Build new functions and features that enhance the Radancy/Ascendify talent platform
- Ensure Scale & Performance: Improve the scalability of our services through proper planning and changes to architecture
- Drive Innovation: Innovate and lead explorations into new areas and new technologies
- Technical Architecture: Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommend and prototype appropriate solutions
- 5+ years in compiled language, preferably Scala or Java.
- 5+ year of experience working with a scripting language; Python, PHP or Ruby
- Experience working with an Object Oriented language
- Deep ElasticSearch, SQL, and data architecture experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Great attitude, humble and always hungry to learn
- Other preferred skills: AWS, Docker
Preferences:
- B.S. in Computer Sciences or related discipline
- Experience with Play Framework
- DevOps experience is a plus
Salary Range: USD $90,000.00-$120,000.*
- The above range is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
