In anticipation of NASA awarding the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) contract, Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a Senior Software Integration Test Engineer to promote HLS and other programs as part of a diverse team that develops lunar landers, other cislunar spacecraft, and a wide range of critical technologies for civil, military, and commercial space programs. The Senior Software Test Engineer will assist the Dynetics Space Systems Division in the development of a human landing system and support equipment, primarily accountable for creating automated and manual test procedures for integration, and full software system tests.

We are looking for Test Engineers to be on the team responsible for integrating and testing the software produced by the development teams. You will be writing requirements-based test cases for formal verification and validation of software and doing less formal ad-hoc and exploratory testing to find any errors. There will be both fully automated tests written usen the LDRA tool as well as semi-automated and manual tests of software using the ARTEMIS / MAESTRO simulation environment that mimics the operations of vehicle sensors and other systems.

You will write test scripts and test automation code in Python, C, or C++. In addition to testing the software on hardware representative of that which is on the vehicle and will test the software on emulated (using QEMU) or simulated (using Simics) hardware.

Basic Qualifications

• If you have 8+ years of software test work history in software testing and have history working with source control systems, such as Git and have demonstrated strong competency with multiple programming languages. APPLY!

Candidates will be residents of the North Alabama area OR willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Other Qualifications

Candidates possessing a master’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institute.

Candidates with knowledge of the following:

• Commercial automated testing tools such as LDRA, ParaSoft, or VectorCast
• Testing of human rated aerospace system software that follows NASA NPR-7150.2D, RTCA DO-178C, or similar software engineering standards
• Spacecraft simulation systems such as ARTEMIS / MAESTRO, Trick, or similar software
• Test case management using Cameo Systems Modeler, Visure, Zephyr, or similar software
• CMMI
• Agile software methodologies (e.g. Scrum or Scaled Agile)
• Programming work history in C/C++, C#, Java, or Python
• Working as part of multi-company and multi-organizational development teams
• Self-motivation with demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
