The Special Needs Clinic is a specialty clinic within our behavioral health system focusing on providing comprehensive, family-based, care for children with chronic illness and their families. Senior Social Worker - Pediatric Psychiatry Special Needs Clinic - Days - Grant Funded

We are seeking a Senior Social Worker to join a an integrated, multidisciplinary team working with children and families in an integrated behavioral health setting. Responsibilities include providing evidence-based telehealth and in-person individual, family, and group psychotherapy; supervision of trainees within behavioral health; integration and coordination with medical and interdisciplinary teams; and home visits to support engagement in care. Work location may be a hybrid schedule including in-clinic and work from home options.

Preferred Criteria

• Bilingual Spanish

• 5 or more years of experience working with individuals with chronic medical illnesses often requiring coordinated care due to difficulties with adherence, such as HIV and diabetes

• Training in empirically supported psychotherapies including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma-Informed approaches to treatment for children, adolescents, and adults

• Masters Social Work (MSW)

• Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSW)
