Job Description
Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a passionate, data-oriented problem-solver to serve as Senior Program Management Analyst to support the Advanced Materials portfolio of programs as part of the Hypersonics and Advanced Materials Division. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The successful candidate will serve as an integral member of the Advanced Materials Business Operations Team. This SPMA role will have direct contact with internal and external Customers, Program management, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Contracts, and others. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with Division Management, Program Management and Program Finance personnel to accomplish the following tasks for the Advanced Materials Department and across multiple programs on an as-needed basis:
Department Management Support
- Support and/or coordinate preparation of weekly Business Meeting presentation, Annual/ Quarterly/ financial performance reviews, and other business operations data calls, as assigned
- Curate CAPEX Plan development and tracking
- Plan and track Indirect Expenses Budget
- Track schedules and initiate renewals for Equipment PM’s and Software licenses
- Work with PM’s and organizational managers to plan and track labor, assign and remove charge numbers, rebalance hours, disseminate work authorizations, communicate labor plans and status, etc.
- Lead development and maintenance of Program Scheduling efforts, in coordination with Program Management, and communicate risks and issues accordingly
Program Support
- Track and communicate funding provided by multiple customers (government and commercial); manage man-hours and work authorizations, material, ODCs, and travel expenses to ensure that funding is managed accurately and appropriately
- Use contract award and/or contract modification data to create project budgets
- Coordinate, prepare, and submit contract deliverables in a timely manner
- Provide input to Estimates at Completion (EAC’s) across various projects (Cost-Type, T&M, Fixed Price, etc.)
- Participate in the preparation and review of cost proposals and contract modifications
- Support materials and subcontract procurement activities
- Ensure accuracy of invoices prior to submission
- Prepare monthly subcontract analysis and process subcontractor invoices for payment
- Work daily with the Program Managers ensuring all working tasks have appropriate funding allocations to reach program goals and deliverables for Dynetics and subcontractors labor and non-labor expenses
- Provide training and oversight for the above tasking for junior project leads
- Performs other related job duties as required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, Science, or Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and 12+ years related experience
- Experience working in a government contracting environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; special consideration given to exceptionally strong Excel skills
- Ability to lead others and work in a cohesive team environment

- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Experience with Costpoint/Cognos/Deltek
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

- Experience with Costpoint/Cognos/Deltek
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
