Job Description


As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing at Vericast, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive product marketing strategies and initiatives to drive customer adoption, revenue growth, and market share for Vericast's products and solutions. You will collaborate with a team of product marketers and cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, client strategy and marketing, to develop and implement product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans. You will also work closely with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and agencies, to drive product awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Lead the development and implementation of clear and compelling product positioning, messaging, and value proposition that differentiate Vericast's products in the market. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles), customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Translate technical product features into customer-centric benefits and value propositions that resonate with target audiences/buyer personas. Provide strategic guidance and direction to the team in developing product messaging across various marketing channels, including website, collateral, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement go-to-market plans for new product launches, product updates, and promotions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, client strategy and marketing, to ensure alignment and execution of go-to-market strategies. Coordinate the development of marketing plans and campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, events, and other promotional activities, to generate product demand, increase product adoption, and drive revenue growth.
  • Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation and management of product-related content, including product collateral, sales tools, presentations, videos, and other marketing assets. Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team in creating compelling product content that aligns with overall marketing strategies and goals. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, customers, partners, and agencies, to ensure that product content is accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicates the value of Vericast's products.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide strategic guidance and direction to the team in developing and delivering sales enablement programs and materials to support sales teams in effectively selling Vericast's products. Develop sales enablement materials, including product presentations, sales scripts, competitive battle cards, and training materials. Conduct product training sessions for sales teams, providing them with a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and positioning. Support sales teams in customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations, as needed.
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product marketing strategies and initiatives. Conduct market research, customer surveys, and competitive analysis to gather insights and feedback on Vericast's products. Analyze and report on product performance, market share, customer feedback, and competitive positioning to inform future product marketing strategies and tactics.

Qualifications


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field (MBA preferred)

EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or software industry

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies and go-to-market plans
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong storytelling ability to craft compelling product solution positioning and content
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Excellent project management skills; preferably experience with monday.com or other project management software

Additional Information


Base Salary: $110,000-$130,000

Position is eligible for a 10% annual bonus incentive program.

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
