The Microsoft Datacenter Development Land Development Organization supports the development and delivery of Microsoft’s datacenter portfolio from site selection through design, permitting, construction and operation. The MS datacenter development portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects.
Microsoft is looking for a Senior Land Development Program Manager for the AMERS region to support the development and execution of permitting strategies for the lifecycle delivery of datacenter development. The Senior Land Development Program Manager will be a key contributor in the execution of comprehensive permitting programs and to the Microsoft pre-construction program. This role will require regular engagement with key Microsoft stakeholders, as well as strategic engagement with Authorities with Jurisidiction (AHJ) and other external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, technical program management
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Preferred Qualifications:

7+ years of experience delivering large scale and/or complex planning and construction projects.

Experience delivering permits and planning approvals, and other entitlements for large scale and/or complex construction projects.

Experience managing a portfolio of projects and associated budgets and schedules.

Experience in establishing and maintaining cross-functional and positive working relationships with internal and external teams including environmental consultants, attorneys, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Community Engagement and Stakeholder engagement experience

Mission critical design and/or construction experience.

Experience in delivery projects in multiple jurisdictions.

Proficiency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
