Cornerstone Homes TC LLC is looking for a skilled and qualified, full-time Senior Trim Carpenter. The Senior Trim Carpenter will be responsible for overseeing and performing all aspects of trim carpentry for residential projects. This position requires a highly skilled carpenter who is capable of performing both detailed and rough carpentry work with advanced knowledge of the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Install millwork, molding, and trim of windows, doors, baseboards, crown molding, mantels, stair treads, and other ornamental pieces.
  • Installs cabinetry and some fixtures as required.
  • Complete exterior work such as decking, railing, post wraps, corbels, etc.
  • Reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Preparing materials and tools required for the job.
  • Measuring and cutting materials with precision to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Conducting quality checks and ensuring that the final product meets design specifications and client expectations.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment - keep tools and worksite in a clean, safe condition.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and project managers.
  • Stay up-to-date with building codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Follow schedules and deadlines to finish projects on time.

Qualifications:

  • 10 + years experience as a carpenter.
  • Must be able to adapt to conditions and circumstances - carpenters work indoors, outdoors, and sometimes in tight spaces.
  • Must be able to physically handle the following: bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying, climbing, and standing for long periods.
  • Proficient in carpentry skills.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Must possess an eye for fine detail and be very precise/exact with measurements and cutting tools.
  • Must have knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills are required.
  • Must have an understanding of construction processes.
  • Must have knowledge of relevant safety rules and regulations as well as building quality standards.
  • Excellent time management and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to multitask with a strong understanding of core duties.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must have an excellent work ethic!

Compensation:

  • $30.00 - $40.00 / hour
