nA DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SCHOOL NURSE
nAs a School Nurse, you oversee the wellness of our school's children and help to coordinate and deliver nursing care and related healthcare services for your assigned program. Working closely with staff, you train, supervise, participate in staff meetings, and act as a nursing consultant as needed. You direct our healthcare team in providing personalized care to students.
nEnsuring proper documentation, you carefully document medications administered, treatments, and assessments. As needed, you prepare and provide incident reports. Conscientiously, you ensure that all charts and other documentation are accurate and up to date. You also maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with clients. You feel great about the positive impact you are making in the lives of students and their families!
nQUALIFICATIONS FOR A SCHOOL NURSE
nBeing bilingual would be a plus. Can you treat students with compassion and respect? Are you a team-oriented leader who can appropriately delegate assignments and follow through to ensure good results? Do you enjoy working with children? If yes, you might just be perfect for this position!
